FOR THE LOVE - HAYDEN JAMIESON, JACOB COOK, AND WILL SHARP

High in the jungle walls of Chile’s Cochamó Valley, Hayden Jamieson, Jacob Cook, and Will Sharp set their sights on the first free ascent of Picaflor. The journey that follows is one of persistence, uncertainty, and quiet determination. For the Love doesn’t just document a climb—it explores what happens when plans fall apart, and why some projects pull us back in. From the first attempt to the final push, the film captures the humor, humility, and heart behind the pursuit—and the reasons we return to the unknown.

BEYOND THE CLIMB - MARCUS GARCIA

This moving presentation explores the importance of mentorship in climbing and how it shapes not just individuals but entire communities. Marcus’s story highlights the ripple effect of mentorship, showing how shared experiences and lessons can empower generations of climbers and beyond.

Picture this: a lifetime of vertical dreams, calloused hands, and the kind of wisdom that only comes from dancing with gravity. That's Marcus Garcia – not just a climber or coach, but a storyteller whose life has become a testament to the power of reaching back while pushing forward.

In his soul-stirring film and presentation, "Beyond the Climb," Marcus doesn't just talk about mentorship – he shows us how it pulses through the veins of the climbing community like a lifeline. This isn't your typical climbing story. It's about those magical moments when someone believes in you before you believe in yourself, about the sacred exchange between generations that turns rocky walls into classrooms of life.

ARC'TERYX PRESENTS: JAMIE

Her boldest journey in climbing was finally living as her true self. Jamie Logan and Mugs Stump’s 1978 first ascent of the daunting Emperor Face of Mount Robson (VI 5.9 A2 2500m) is widely regarded as one of the greatest ascents in alpine climbing. At one point, Jamie spent hours on lead, questing into the unknown, scraping up a fearsome runout corner with rudimentary ice-climbing gear, and freeing one of the hardest pitches ever led in the mountains at that time. Decades later, at age 69, Jamie faced an even greater unknown: What would it mean to her wife, children, friends, community—and, most importantly, herself—if she finally broke free from the secret she’d been carrying her whole life, and started living as herself? “Jamie” is a new short film with a powerful message that life can be richer when you let love and trust guide you. WYOCLIMBERS: REBOLTING FOR THE FUTURE & RESPECTING THE WILD

In Wyoming’s rugged and iconic climbing areas, access isn’t just about trails and bolts - it’s about balance. WyoClimbers: Rebolting for the Future & Respecting the Wild follows the behind-the-scenes work of WyoClimber volunteers as they replace aging hardware to keep climbers safe and balance seasonal raptor nesting closures with climber access.

This short documentary explores how a local climbing organization merges technical skill with ecological awareness - working hand-in-hand with land managers, biologists, and volunteers to ensure that climbing remains both sustainable and respectful of the landscapes it depends on.
