Telling the story of ICF
ICF is the biggest fundraiser of the year for WyoClimbers’ reach in the Lander area. It enables funds to be generated to sustain on-going projects as well as provide the tangible space for new initiatives.
How ICF is captured, and how it’s story is told through visual imagery is essential for collecting new support year after year. That’s where our photographers and videographers come in! With their time, effort and expertise we are capable to actually tell ICF’s history, mission and share the stoke of the event through marketing materials, social media platforms and more.

“ I began climbing in Montana when I was in college and just loved the way it made me feel. I’ve always felt very at home in the climbing community and love spending time at the crag whether I’m shooting photos or projecting something. I started taking photos in high school with my buddies when we would camp or explore the mountains. It felt like the right creative outlet for me and I ended up going to school for photojournalism. When I’m not taking photos or climbing, I’m usually outside with my dog or foraging for mushrooms.”

Photography entered my life through geology and climbing. While living in Durango, Colorado, friends encouraged me to start bringing a camera to the crag or out backpacking. What began as documenting our adventures quickly grew into something more. One opportunity led to another—publications, commercial projects, athlete partnerships—and eventually a photography business of my own. When I'm not behind the camera or outside recreating, you'll usually find me building new business ventures alongside my husband, learning lapidary and metalsmithing, rock-hounding, creating geology education content, or attempting to stay ahead of an increasingly unruly garden. At the core of nearly everything I do is a fascination with the Earth itself.
I've been climbing on and off for more than sixteen years, ever since college. What started as a hobby gradually became a lifestyle and one I sort of centered my location around Originally from Texas, I've spent much of my adult life living throughout the Mountain West, ultimately putting roots down in Lander, Wyoming for the last 4.5 years.

“ Photography is the through line in my life—every time my interests have changed or I’ve moved, photos have been there as part of the documentation and art in my life. I got into bouldering casually in 2020 and recently have found a whole new inspiration for dancing over rock through sport climbing. I’ve just started my storytelling podcast, Stick and Stone, exploring the walls that call to us through stories of climbers who’ve sent, summited, fallen, and survived. When I’m not shooting photos, crimping, or recording, you can find me on the couch with my cat listening to a book while I knit a sweater.”

“Hey Y’all! My name is Diego, I am originally from Berkeley, CA but have been residing in Austin, Texas for 12 years.. I started climbing at our local crag in the Berkeley hills and got hooked. I was introduced to photography by my artist mom who gave me film camera to shoot my friends skateboarding. My passion for photography has taken me all over the world and given me opportunities I never thought existed. I am inspired by the stories of people I talk to around the world and a good powder day in the mountains. When I'm not climbing I am skating street or the local park, training jiu jitsu or swimming in our local rivers.”

“I work as the Assistant Manager for momentum climbing in Lehi, Utah. Climbing has always been a great outlet and connection to the outdoors for me. I fell in love with Bouldering during my time at Appalachian State in Boone, NC and have made some of my closest friends because of it. Photography has been my creative outlet since middle school. I’ve always enjoyed capturing my outdoor adventures and trying to tell a story through my photos. I enjoy portraiture, landscapes, and especially long exposure photos. When I’m not climbing or shooting, I’m normally hiking, cooking some new fun recipe, or slack-lining.

“My journey with photography started out just snapping pictures of my climbing partners in college. I was hooked on both the sport and the art. I have been improving my craft ever since, collaborating with athletes and members of my community that I've found inspiring. In addition to my work in ultrarunning and climbing, my photography focuses on capturing adventurous couples, weddings, and elopements all over the Rocky Mountains. I truly love this work, and when I'm not behind the lens I'm usually trail running, climbing, or cooking with my wife and our two huskies in Helena, MT. “

“I've always felt most at home outdoors, drawn to the adventure and freedom it offers. While attending college in Colorado, that passion grew through climbing, mountain biking, hiking, trail running, and snowboarding. Photography started as a way to capture those experiences with friends. From long nights in canyons to full days on the wall, I wanted to document and share the moments that mattered. After buying my first camera, I began photographing landscapes and climbing before expanding into sports and outdoor storytelling. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me playing guitar, golfing, playing tennis, or chasing my next outdoor adventure!”
