A Community Ethic

The International Climbers’ Festival is committed to making our community a safe space for everyone and to being responsible stewards of our resources. We are excited to welcome you to Lander year after year - whoever you may be or whatever your background is - to share time and space together. Come as you are and know that we work to create a safe space for you. Any form of discrimination, hatred, or ill-intentions will absolutely not be tolerated at or around the Festival, and we reserve the right to remove you from the Festival.

To work towards these goals together, we hope you will consider abiding by the following guidelines:

• Be considerate of one another

• Follow land manager rules and closures

• Respect wildlife and natural resources

• Travel on existing trails

• Dispose of waste properly

• Keep dogs leashed or under voice command

To help minimize the spread of invasive species:

• REMOVE plants, animals & mud from boots, gear, pets & vehicles.

• CLEAN your gear before entering & leaving the recreation site.

• STAY on designated roads & trails.

• USE CERTIFIED or local firewood & hay.
